i_mizs_u&stfu

i got everything i wanted for xmas and more! yay for consumerism! and to think i wanted to bypass the whole event; ok, i'll admit to my less-than-optimistic-outlook on coming to newhampster for my whole week off. BUT it was a really great that this year i got my fam stuff they really wanted and received like in return.

ALSO i got to see some of my old frendz that i always forget how much i miss.

ally. i love you. my heart is always 100% yours.

this track starts out all tribally but then gets all bangin' its been one of the favorites to throw in the holiday mixes. i think this sexy remix was posted on missingtoof a while ago. thnx for being so sick missingtoof, cheeeerz.

shuffle1

!!SHUFFLE!!
this has become popular in the "blog world"

heres the idea: shuffle tracks on your mp3 player or whatever, when the track appears go on google.com/images (or some other image search engine) and type in the track name - post the first cool picture that comes up in the first page. sometimes you get pretty interesting results. and if your bored and dont really have anything to blog about, like myself, its a great waste of time!

somthing about you (mr oizo remix) - jamelia

i dono who this jamelia chick is, and i was really halvesy on this track when i first acquired it. but i've come to really enjoi it. mr oizo is a beat P I M P! i post a lot of him on here, but its because he's just that freq'n awesome.

song 2 - trash yourself & toxic avenger (redo)

its kind of funny that this one came up because i was thinking about posting it. i'm not a HUGE toxic avenger or trash yourself fan. they are a little too "core" for me. but this redo of the 90's blur classic "song 2" definitely touches a soft spot.

crimewaves - crystal castles vs health

crystal castles !!! if you missed this track the first time i posted it here, its a good time to redeem your worthlessness. this has definitely been appearing in all my recent mixes.
i love this picture too. its so wierd.

ghost transistor - kavinsky

edBanger record's kavinsky's tracks tend to be retrolicious as hell. he has a healthy obsession with 80s backbeats, which is cool beacause I do as well.

arrest yourself - hot chip

i don't really know how this picture correlates with "arrest yourself" at all, but whatever, pirates are freq'n awesome.
hot chip continues to be one of my favorite music groups out there, if you like postal service or james figurine at all they are definitely a band to check out.

simon says (estaw instrumental refix) - pharoah monche

this is uncanny because i was going to post this track as well. i found it on palmsOut Sounds.
i love this breakbeat redo of such a classic.
a actually did the search under "simon says estaw" because "simon says" came up with a advert posters for a lame horror movie, and i feel like this image is more representative of the tracks dark side, or maybe i am just talking out of my ass.

citronella - aesop rock

its a plant... guess i should have guessed on that one.
aesop rock is freq'n awesome. i just missed him at cerventes last night. i'm sure the show was amazing.

now wasn't that fun?

ACID HOUSE DOUBLE FEATURE!

DAFT PUNK
(robots in a pyramid who know how to make a crowd of adults cry over their TEKNNOMUSICCC!!)

Something about men in robots suits pumping loud hard acidic house beats and crazy beautiful old school techno-ballads just does it for me. Although the two artists in this double feature definitely get some points for visuals!! Both of these amazing artists use incredibly display techniques to captivate the mind. In other words; make you feel like acid. I had the luck to see Daft Punk at red rocks, I went early with friends and had front row seats to a show that will go down in Denver history. People were going NUTS!!! The vibes were intense and surreal. There was an omnipotent connection with all the people there like nothing I've ever seen at show that size.

Here are some$ pix from the RedRocks Daft Punk Concert. (That also featured French edBanger electro house legends SebAstian, Kavinsky and Busy P) [on a side note: Busy P now manages Daft Punk and the edBanger label]

CHEMICAL BROTHERS

(formally known as the "Dust Brothers" but not the ones that did the fightclub soundtrack, the ones who almost got sued for having the name.)

Ridiculously stunning show last night! I knew I wanted to see Chemical Brothers [at the Fillmore], because they are classic, but I had NO idea what I was in for! Definitely on the top three concerts list. The visuals were stunning and the music was bangin' once again amazing vibes. Through a fuselage of old sounds and modern rhythms Chem Bros were able to capitulate a very original sound. Not to mention the light show was definitely up there with Daft Punk's mind boggling pyramid.

Check this shit out.

do it again

wub wub wub wub wub

oh frech electro! mmmmmm and krazy baldhead def knows how to throw down those sexy swingin' full note beats. Dry Guillotine is his new album and it is sickety sick sick sick! I first heard him on EdRec vol2 and fell in love with the track "Crazy Motherfuckers" I could not get enough of it! This new cd is like that track amplified over an album. Where as many of the tracks like "applyjuice" and "revolution" have definite dubStep influences the track the album is named after "dry Guillotine" takes a dancier note than his melodic full note tracks like "applejuice" and "revolutions" (the original track not acutally on this particular album)

In any case plz enjoi and def get this album if you do! krazybald head page face

>Crazy Mother Fuckers - Krazy Baldhead (feat on EdRec vol 2)
>Dry Guillotine - Krazy Baldhead
>Applejuice - Krazy Baldhead
>Revolution (original mix) - Krazy Baldhead

who drank my god damn applejuice?

Ed Rec Vol 1 & 2 ... you want revolutionary sound --french artists of the EdBanger record label (including huge upcoming artists like Justice, SebAstian, Mr Oizo and Busy P) will r0x0rz yr s0x0rz fr sure! all of the artists have a tight grasp on the electro rock revolution, I had the luck to see SebastiAn, Busy P and Kavinsky at DAFT PUNK @ RedRocks (more on that later) --amazing shit.. unfortunately they were only spinning out tracks. Wheres the Live PA?! I wont post any tracks from the actual albums but trust me they are fucking amazing and definitely worth the pocket change.

Mr Oizo's first track ever - transexual is so freakin kitchy. He also wrote the intro song on the promo vid - (first under the title Trina700). SebastiAn's track "HAL"... just listen. The amazing dubstep elements coalesced with the super electro elements are soooo sick and definitely for me was a stepping stone into an all new world of electronic music.
